Court documents reveal the actual amount of money seized from Mt. Gox in May. The money was taken because Mt. Gox did not register as a money transacting business with the US regulatory agency FinCEN. It is uncertain what will happen next although Mt. Gox has filed the appropriate paperwork to continue operating in the US. No word on the Coinbase debacle.
